For this project, I was tasked with rebranding an existing brand and developing two new product designs.
The two cans are named "The Barrhaven Beast" and "Ottawa Underground," each inspired by local urban legends in Ottawa. The designs aim to capture the essence of these intriguing stories and give the products a unique and engaging identity.
"Hope" is inspired by the murals at Persepolis. This illustration captures the concept of hope through the depiction of the lion and the bull, which symbolize the eternal struggle between opposing forces.
The lion is shown in the midst of an attack, not killing the bull, representing the ongoing battle between light and darkness and the enduring promise of renewal. Persian cuneiform is used to write "hope" in English, bridging ancient symbolism with contemporary meaning.
