Akiko is a branding project for a handmade resin jewelry business inspired by Japanese aesthetics. The vision for Akiko was to create a brand that embodies both elegance and charm.
Central to Akiko's brand identity is a cute, approachable mascot designed to appeal to a wide audience. This mascot plays a versatile role in the branding, prominently featured on packaging and other brand touchpoints.
The mascot not only adds a playful element but also enhances brand recognition and customer engagement.
Deth Star is a branding project for a tattoo studio and barber shop, designed to reflect a unique blend of influences. The client wanted a logo featuring a skull inspired by the Japanese clothing brand Mastermind, combined with elements of biker culture.
I merged the skull design with motorcycle club badge aesthetics and incorporated two tattoo machines and a pair of scissors, creatively styled to resemble bones, ensuring the overall skull's aesthetic remained intact.
The name "Deth" stands out, inspired by the client’s favorite band, Megadeth. The design also nods to the client’s favorite beer, Stella Artois, through a star similar to the one in its branding, integrating it seamlessly into the overall design.
For the rebranding of Michael Safieddine Fine Art Photography, the challenge was to update the previous logo, which featured only the artist's initials and lacked the elegance he desired. The client wanted his full name incorporated into the logo to serve as a more recognizable signature on his work.
I redesigned the logo to prominently feature Michael Safieddine's full name, creating a sophisticated and elegant look that enhances its presence. This new design not only aligns with the artist's vision but also ensures that the logo functions effectively as a distinguished mark on his fine art photography.
